Moulin à vent de Cussol to Verdelais

This mill, built in 1730 by the Célestins monks, was in ruins when the commune of Verdelais acquired it in 1997. Fully restored by the Moulin de Cussol association, it is now in working order. It is located just a few hundred metres from the Malagar estate, owned by François Mauriac. From here, there is a wide panoramic view over the Garonne valley, the Sauternes vineyards, the Landes of Gironde and, under certain conditions, the Pyrenees.
