Village de Bernos-Beaulac to Bernos-beaulac
Situated on the borders of the Landes and Bazadais regions, the village of Bernos-Beaulac offers two types of landscape: to the north, pastures and farmland, and to the south, the maritime pine forest of the Landes de Gascogne.
Between the meadows and pines, in the hollow of the valley, winds the Ciron, which crosses the commune from east to west in shady gorges. It’s on the banks of this river that you can take advantage of hiking trails such as the “Belvédère du Ciron” and enjoy canoeing with your family or friends. It’s also in Bernos-Beaulac that some of the most inquisitive visitors are welcomed on certain days in the summer to learn more about their old trade.
