Discovering the river and its inhabitants is a great way for young naturalists to discover the many curious little animals. Meet at the Maison de la Réserve, then take the car (2 minutes) to go to the river bank.
First of all, an artistic awakening with a drawing of the river and its bank without a pencil…then you start fishing with small nets to catch insect larvae, water bugs or small snails. The fishing lasts an hour and requires boots (or used trainers). At the end of the session, you can observe and determine whether the water is healthy or polluted by the bugs.
These activities are aimed primarily at children aged 6-12 accompanied by their parents.
