Fête des Boeufs Gras de Bazas to Bazas
Le 27/02/2025Languages spoken
The Bazadaise breed is the pride of the region’s renowned gastronomy. Since 1283, every Thursday before Mardi Gras, the town of Bazas has hosted the famous “Fête des Bœufs Gras”, during which the finest examples of the Bazadaise breed are presented. Adorned with ribbons and floral crowns, the oxen parade through the streets of the town to the sound of fifes and drums, before being judged by experts.
