Made from the best beef breeds from Bazas, Blonde d'Aquitaine and Limousin, Bœuf de Bazas beef is selected from approved and qualified farms in an area stretching from the south of the Gironde to part of the Landes.

Captieux celebrates its finest specimens, reared and fattened at the ESAT (Ferme du Grand Lartigue), who parade through the streets, their horns wrapped in flowers.

Dates

10.30am: Boeufs Gras parade at the ESAT, led by the Sous-Fifres de Saint-Pierre d’Aurillac & Lous de Bazats.
From 12pm: lunch under a heated marquee (booking required).
From 12 noon: lunch on site under a heated marquee (booking required).
Activities: tours of the cowshed, various exhibitions, exhibitors (honey, rope-making,…), trimming demonstration, sale of ESAT products, workshop tours.
