On stage – Cie Les Dés Rangés to Bazas

After a week’s residency on “Gnothi Seauton, le moulin de mon corps”, Cie Les Dés Rangés will be presenting some of their work at the weekly market

(or at the Polyèdre in case of bad weather).

Gnothi Seauton, le moulin de mon corps” explores the relationship between people and their environment, between the body and the place where they live and work, through the exploration of bodily rotational movements and repetitive actions specific to the miller’s work.

Using sounds recorded in a working watermill and readings of extracts from a testimony of daily life in a mill, the aim is to combine individual and collective memory by bringing back the gestures and sounds of a heritage that is sometimes forgotten, and to highlight the rapid evolution of landscapes and society.
