Conceived by La Dame d’atours, artisan d’art de France, the exhibition takes a chronological route from the Renaissance to the Grand Siècle. The exhibition covers the century of the two Dukes of Epernon and presents some twenty faithfully restored costumes in four ensembles, complete with fashion accessories!

Paraître! is also accompanied by a rich programme of cultural events. All day long on Sunday 28 July, enjoy an old-fashioned costume ball at the château, accompanied by ladies and gentlemen. On 26 July, 23 August and 25 October, enjoy theatrical tours in the company of the Duc d’Épernon. Back at the château 400 years later, he recruits his personal guard: will you be up to the challenge? Finally, on August 2, 16, 30 and November 1, slip into the shoes of an Apprentice Designer and make your own miniature costume as a family.
