committed to ecotourism
The ”Cercle des Imaginaterres” gathers today around fifty service providers (hosts, providers of tourist activities, craftspeople, producers…), federated by the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Reserve, aware of the challenges of sustainable development and committed to a more responsible tourism.
Close to nature and aware of the patrimonial richness of the region, these participants share the values of the Regional Nature Reserve, which supports them in a virtuous approach of tourism. Every day, they endeavour to place solidarity, the environment, generosity and the gascon identity at the heart of their offer. In this way, they put themselves in the most beautiful manner at the service of the saying “Another kind of tourism is being invented here”. True pioneers of tomorrow’s tourism, “being Imaginaterres” commits them to an approach of voluntary progress, tending to a better environmental and social management of their structure.
Renovations using environmentally responsible materials, ecological gardens, maximised rubbish management, measured energy consumption: these are some of the concrete actions that our service providers have implemented in their structures to meet the challenges of sustainable tourism.
