We are located in Portets, in the Graves region on the outskirts of Bordeaux. It was here that the first vineyards of the Bordeaux region were established.
The origins of the name Château Grand Abord go back a long way, to the time when the Garonne River flowed right up to the edge of the estate. Boats and barges would make a “grand abordage”. The names of the château’s plots can already be found in the 1868 edition of Féret. Tasting room.
