In Saint-Maixant, Château Mémoires is ideally situated on a hill overlooking the Garonne Valley. Jean-François and Loïc Ménard invite you to sit down in the shade of a beautiful almond tree and take the time to admire the breathtaking view from their garden. They will be delighted to welcome you to their 32-hectare family estate.
You’ll learn that at Château Mémoires, the grapes are harvested by hand and the wines are produced in total harmony with their natural environment (certified organic and biodynamic). The father and son duo then invite you to taste the full range of their wines, from red and rosé Premières Côtes de Bordeaux to Cadillac sweet wines. On your way back, stop off at Malagar, a listed historic monument, a writer’s house that is exceptional both for the beauty of its site and for the personality of François Mauriac.
