Family-owned since 1888, the wine estate, run as a family business by Stéphane and Jérome Rousselon, covers an area of 30 hectares of AOC Côtes de Bordeaux red grape variety vines and also 10 hectares of white vines, planted mainly on the south-east sloping sides with gravelly clay and blue and yellow clay subsoil (ribot).

This was the seat of an independent seigneury, known since the 14th century, and the fiefdom of the Carmes de Bordeaux.
